Information Day for «The Realization of National Holidays at the Republic of Tatarstan»

On May, 21st, 2009 at the information-bibliographic department of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan spent Information Day featuring «The organization and realization of the national holidays of the people living in the Republic of Tatarstan: customs and traditions». The extensive exhibition of the literature, periodicals, information and scenario materials in languages of these people was prepared. Among them materials of realization of holidays: "Sabantuy", "Karavon", "Gyryny Poton", "Akashka", "Akatuy", "Sinzee", etc.

Acquainting with library, its history and information resources, the review of materials and scenarios, consultations on cooperation with RSMC (the Republican scientifically-methodical centre) was held by the main librarian of the Center of the information on culture and art Gizzatullina F.M. in 2 state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan.
