The new information technologies - to museums and libraries.

On September, 8th at the National museum of the Republic of Tatarstan the session of Kazan club “The automation of activity of museums and information technologies” has taken place. The representatives of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan took part also. Within the limits of the National training of UNESCO on museum management the chiefs and leading experts of museums have discussed museum digital technologies, creation of electronic resources in museums etc.
With a presentation «The creation of museum electronic information resources. The new equipment and technologies» representatives of «Electronic archive» Corporation (Moscow) and “Interactive multimedia systems in a museum exposition. Individual approach to each exposition” (St.-Petersburg) "KAMIS" Company has acted. KAMIS - museum information systems which can realize information search in electronic library, and create electronic encyclopedias etc.
The Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (36 Karl Marx Str.) is happy to present new book arrivals to its visitors. Our new stock will be interesting to those who learn Russian as a foreign language or teach it to international students.
The seven-volume work entitled “The History of the Tatars since Ancient Times” written in English language and published by the Institute of History of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has supplemented the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From March 14 to 16, 2017 the officials of the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan organized meetings with the lecturers and students of Kazan Federal University.
