Department of periodicals for first-year students

On September, 22nd, 2009 the department of periodicals of the National library of the Republic of Tatarstan (36, K.Marx's str.) has opened the doors for first-year students of the Kazan theatrical school.

Employees of the department have held survey excursion on department and have opened treasures of the funds.

The great attention of students was involved with exhibitions of periodicals. One of them – «Youth chooses sports» – is devoted to the Year of Youth, the Year of sports and a healthy way of life. The second exhibition is organized to the 20th anniversary of youth magazine "Idel" which was celebrated in July of this year. Students not only have familiarized with magazines and articles from the newspapers telling about the edition, but also have heard the review on this theme.

Participants of action have been given possibility to become constant readers of the library.

We invite all first-year students of the Kazan high schools to touch the treasures of the main library of Tatarstan.
