Only till September, 30th at the German reading room of the department of the literature on foreign languages the exhibition «Children between the worlds» (“Kinder zwischen den Welten”) is opened. We invite all interested persons, parents with children and especially children because it will be interesting to them to look through colorful editions of the children's and youthful literature in German, French, Spanish and Italian languages.
How would we live, if whole world was one village? How to tell about a round-world trip in 500 words? What religions and holidays are in the world? Who are Madlenka, Leandr and a chameleon Leon?
Answers to this and many other questions mentioning so actual problem for present time of international relations is possible to receive, having opened exhibition books «Children between the worlds».The exhibition is given by the German Cultural centre of Goethe in Moscow within the limits of the All-Russia tour. The exhibition gets special value within the limits of a Year of Youth spent at 2009 in the Russian Federation. Within current year the exhibition already has worked in Tyumen, Ufa, Ekaterinburg, Perm and after Kazan it will go to Saratov.
The Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (36 Karl Marx Str.) is happy to present new book arrivals to its visitors. Our new stock will be interesting to those who learn Russian as a foreign language or teach it to international students.
The seven-volume work entitled “The History of the Tatars since Ancient Times” written in English language and published by the Institute of History of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has supplemented the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From March 14 to 16, 2017 the officials of the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan organized meetings with the lecturers and students of Kazan Federal University.
