On March 1, 2016 in the reading room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (ul. K. Marksa, d. 36) there was held a literary-musical evening dedicated to spring and love, the participants of which were the students and teachers of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law (IEML).
The event was the result of the extensive preparatory work carried out by officers of the department of the periodical editions of the library and the participants of the evening. With great enthusiasm and joy, students were joining to the literature of different times, that causes the cleansing of the soul and sings the praises to this beautiful and eternal feeling. Publications of foreign classics, Russian, Soviet and Tatar literature from the library collections, articles on subject from the periodical editions - all this rich heritage of the past was given to students during the preparation for the event. Young men and ladies were inspired by the works of W. Shakespeare, J.-B. Moliere, G. Sand, A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, L. Tolstoy, A. Kuprin, I. Turgenev, F. Tyutchev, S. Yesenin, M. Gorky, I. Bunin, M. Tsvetaeva, A. Akhmatova, G. Tukai, M. Jalil, A. Kutuy and other authors who wrote about the love. Participants were reading the poems and showed short excerpts from the works of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and A. Voznesensky "Juno and Avos". The impression of the evening had been strengthened by the musical accompaniment: the excerpts from Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, music of the orchestra of Paul Mauriat had sounded. The event was a great success. In a crowded room no one remained indifferent to the eternal love stories. The best examples of world literature stored on the shelves of the library, helped to tell to the young people of the 21st century about the true, pure, sublime love that makes a person happy.
