A meeting at the rehabilitation center "Sunny"

On March 10, 2016 at the Department of Periodical editions of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan there was held an event for the students of the third grade of the autonomous institution of social service the Rehabilitation Centre for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities "The Sun" under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan ".

The first part of the meeting, "Be healthy and temper yourself" was dedicated to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Students received useful information about the magazines and newspapers on sports subjects that are available at the funds of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the second part of the meeting there was conducted a review from the series "An hour of a literature", dedicated to the life and work of the Soviet writer Alexander Tvardovsky. Particular attention was paid to the most famous work of the writer  "Vasiliy Terkin". The students one after one with the great pleasure were reading the lines from this wonderful poem. The children were pleased with interesting puzzles and sweet prizes, that had complemented the friendly atmosphere of the meeting. The participants parted, promising to continue the meetings at school and at the main library of Tatarstan.
