Day of kind movie for the 130th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay

On April 19, 2016 for the people of third age the Department of Arts of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (ul. Teatralnaya, d. 5) in the framework of the volunteer action "Spring Week of Kindness – Relay race of good deeds "KINDHEARTED TATARSTAN" and the Year of Cinema in Russia organized the collective watching of the documentaries that are reflecting the universal values.

Demonstration of the unique films from stocks of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan is timed to the 130th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay. These films are from the series "Compatriots" of the "Golden Collection" of the TV-company TNV "Sadness and joy of the Tukay's childhood" and "Poetic birthplace of Tukay". These films are telling about the person whose name by the right has entered the cultural and national heritage of Tatarstan and Russia. Each film contains rare documents or previously unknown biographical facts that influenced the fate of the poet and have tied his life with Tatarstan.

Also, the excerpts from the documentary film "Tukay" and the poetic play "And grief... And thoughts... And love" from the multimedia collection "Tukay" were presented to the viewers. These films show the way of formation of the great poet's poetic gift, and are revealing to the audience the palette of images of poetic works of Tatar literature classic.
