We remember. We glorify. We are proud of our country

In anticipation of the 71st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (ul. Kremlevskaya, d. 33) hosts a book exhibition "We remember. We glorify. We are proud of our country".

The exhibition introduces the readers to the numerous documentary publications on the World War II, such as the memories of famous politicians about the events of those years. Presented at the exhibition illustrated encyclopedia of weapons of that era used by armed forces of different countries, attracts the attention of professionals and anyone interested in military equipment. Particular place of the exhibition is taken by the books from the series "The Chevaliers of the Medal of Victory", dedicated to the commanders of the Soviet Union, their life paths and roles in the Great Patriotic War. A special place is occupied by the books of Tatar writers, which are telling about soldiers and war heroes - natives of Tatarstan. The articles and other materials of the exhibition shows the contribution of residents of the republic to the common cause of the Victory. In addition to nonfiction, the readers are introduced to the art books about the exploits and heroism of the Soviet people, committed by them in the name of the Motherland during the war.

The exhibition is addressed to a wide range of readers of all ages.
