An evening of Maydan journal

The literary evening dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Maydan journal will be held in the Grand reading room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan, Kremlevskaya str., 33) at 4 p.m on Friday, September 16. Meetings with art workers, authors, readers, creative community and journalists of the Republic of Tatarstan are planned.

The republican public, literary and art journal Maydan is issued in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (Republic of Tatarstan). The periodical is aimed at development and preservation of the Tatar language as well as ethical education of the youth.

Particular journal issues are dedicated to creativity of famous writers and art workers of the Republic of Tatarstan. Literary works of various genre, articles, covering cultural and social life as well as scientific and archive researches form the uniqueness of the periodical.
