Information Day

On September 22, 2016 the Department of Arts of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan held an Information Day for the second-year students of the faculty of social and technical systems of Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU).

The officials of the Library presented the information regarding the structure of the main republican library, user instructions, library stocks, catalogues as well as electronic searching.

The great history of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan that is situated in the federal heritage asset – Ushkova House – attracted interest of all attendants. Students were given a chance of walking through the rooms of one of the most attractive Kazan buildings. The guests were taken aback by elaborately designed interiors, exquisiteness of fireplaces, beauty of mirrors, the cool of stalactite grotto. All these details added much to the general impression about the history of Ushkova House.

All the attendants received library cards and officially became the readers of the Library.​
