Exhibition overview for KSMU students

On February 21, 2017 on the International Mother Language Day, the officials of the Department of Exhibitions and Cultural Programs of the National library of the Republic of Tatarstan presented the exhibition overview for the 1-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine of Kazan State Medical University. This group of students came to Kazan to receive higher education from different regions of India.

During the meeting, the students got acquainted with the literature on show as well as emphasized the subject of state languages and the issue of bilingualism in the Republic of Tatarstan. Students displayed interest to thematic exhibition and asked questions regarding to the ethnic composition of the republic, national languages and the peculiarities of the development of languages in Tatarstan. In the end, students and their supervisor enjoyed the guided tour of Ushkov house that was conducted both in Russian and in English.
