National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan received a unique publication "Shuab-i pandzhgana"

On April 28, 2016 at the conference hall of the Institute of History named after S. Mardzhani of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of presentation of publications of the Research Center of the Golden Horde and the Tatar khanates named after M.A. Usmanov the unique facsimile edition of "Shuab-i pandzhgana" was handed over to the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The proposed facsimile of a manuscript, prepared for publication by the Candidate of Historical Sciences I.M. Mirgaleev, is a genealogical work, written in the Persian language and belonging to the pen of a Persian author Rashid al-Din. The work is divided into five chapters devoted to genealogies of various nations. This facsimile edition was prepared on the sole manuscript of the "Shuab-i pandzhgana" that is stored in the archive of Topkapi Palace in Istanbul (code No.11668) of the Republic of Turkey. Head of the Institute of History named after S. Mardzhani of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Khakimov handed a unique facsimile to the director of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan Syuyumbike Ziganshina.
