The People's Artist of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, Fatima Ilskaya, pioneered professional Tatar theater. She spent more than half a century on the stage! It was not just fifty years of being involved in theater, but also half a century of relentless, non-stop work, and the full-time commitment of her talent, intelligence, and strength.
Fatima Ilskaya, like all great masters of the stage, had her own, unique creative style. Each character created by the actress, was exceptional. At the same time, all her characters had a deep humanity and joie de vivre. Ilskaya’s life belonged to the theater. It was the primary light in her life. She lived for the theater.
