On September 24, 2011 a group of local USG alumni community took part in art therapy training “Colors of autumn” in the frame of art workshop program.

On September, 29th at the American Center of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan there has passed a fascinating meeting with Alyson Faller. The theme for discussion - «Cinema and music» has been chosen in advance.

At the National Library of Tatarstan great attention is given to veterans of work, the ex-employees of the library. We aspire to make a life of older persons worthy, sated with activity and pleasure, saved from loneliness. Special care of pensioners is traditionally celebrated on the Day of Older Persons on October 1st.

One of main aims of the Center of the legal information’s work is rendering free socially-legal aid to pensioners and other socially not protected groups of the population (to invalids, needy), with use of printing and electronic information-legal resources.

On the threshold of European Day of Languages on the basis of the school № 165 there has passed conference «European languages: a place, a role, teaching modern lines in educational space of Kazan».

Only till September, 30th at the German reading room of the department of the literature on foreign languages the exhibition «Children between the worlds» (“Kinder zwischen den Welten”) is opened.

On September, 22nd, 2009 the department of periodicals of the National library of the Republic of Tatarstan (36, K.Marx's str.) has opened the doors for first-year students of the Kazan theatrical school.

The American Center of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan has begun a season of discussion club with Alyson Faller. She is the participant of the program Fulbright English Teaching Assistants.

On September, 16th 2009 from the National Library of Azerbaijan the letter of thanks addressed to the director of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan has been received.

On September, 18th, 2009 at the National library of the Republic of Tatarstan the seminar «Traditional national culture of the Tatar people: problems of preservation and translation in the conditions of public library» has passed. Library workers serving the Tatar population in regions of Russian Federation participated in it.
